Year 2 builds on the foundation established in The Procedural Training Course, expanding procedural readiness to four additional high-stakes emergency procedures.Year 2 is designed to follow completion of the original Procedural Training Course, expanding procedural competence across a broader set of high-acuity emergency interventions.
This 12-month procedural readiness system focuses on:
• Central venous catheterization
• Pericardiocentesis
• Transvenous pacing
• Cranial burr hole
Each month, participants receive a procedure-specific training box shipped directly to their door containing the materials needed for that session’s module. Training sessions are designed to be completed in 30 minutes and combine clinical scenarios, key decision points, and hands-on procedural rehearsal.
Using spaced repetition and deliberate practice, each procedure is revisited three times during the year to reinforce retention and maintain familiarity with techniques that are often performed under extreme time pressure.
All training materials are yours to keep, allowing continued practice and refresher training even after the curriculum is complete.
